Golden Chicken first began operating in Hervey Bay, Queensland in 1986. By increasing demand and success we have expanded to include stores in Gladstone. Our stores are proudly locally owned and operated, supporting a range of local businesses and community groups.
We offer eat in or takeaway options at all of our store locations, giving you control and choice over your dining experience. Our menus contain Aussie favourites, including BBQ chicken meals, chicken fillet burgers, chicken rolls and a range of sides and accompaniments.

Our BBQ chickens are delivered fresh, seasoned and barbecued according to our own perfected secret recipe. Our chickens are unmarinated and rotisserie cooked for a healthy option, as well as being hormone free.
Our distinctive garlic sauce is available for individual purchase in Hervey Bay and Gladstone stores. The chip seasoning is our own crafted blend, salads are prepared fresh in store, nuggets are made from real breast meat, and burgers use real skinless chicken breast fillets.
